A meta-analysis of 19 research articles conducted with 400,000 people studied the relationship between zinc intake and colorectal cancer. Analysis has shown that high dietary intake of zinc decreased the risk of colorectal cancer by 18%.

• Prevention. For people at risk of colorectal cancer, take daily 2 mg vitamin B2 (3), 2 mg vitamin B6 (6), 100 mcg vitamin B12 (9), 800 IU vitamin D3 (11), 400 mcg vitamin B9 (8), 500 mg calcium (14), 100 mg magnesium (17), 50 mcg selenium (26), and 10 mg zinc (20).

• Treatment. For colorectal cancer patients, take daily 10 mg vitamin B2 (3), 10 mg vitamin B6 (6), 400 mcg vitamin B12 (9), 2,000 IU vitamin D3 (11), 800 mcg vitamin B9 (8), 1,000 mg calcium (14), 200 mg magnesium (17), 100 mcg selenium (26), and 20 mg zinc (20).
