• Vitamin B2 enhances one-carbon metabolism. Vitamin B2 deficiency may lead to disorders in one-carbon metabolism, causing insufficient methylation of DNA, which is a hallmark of cancerous cells.

Vitamin B2. A meta-analysis of eight research papers studied the relationship between vitamin B2 and colorectal cancer in 7,750 colorectal cancer patients. Sufficient dietary intake of vitamin B2 was found to significantly lower the risk of colorectal cancer.
